The short version: Watt's Left collects nothing and sends nothing.

What the app reads

Watt's Left reads your computer's battery through the standard Windows battery interface: charge level, the rate of power going in or out, stored energy, voltage, design and full-charge capacity, and cycle count. It reads these values only to display them to you.

What the app stores

Two things, both on your own computer, in the private folder Windows creates for the app:

Your settings: the window position and which options you have switched on.
A small history of recent battery readings, so the graphs can show the last half hour after a restart.

Uninstalling the app removes both.

What the app sends

Nothing. Watt's Left makes no network connections of any kind. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no telemetry. There is no server for it to talk to.

What the app does not do

It does not access files, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or anything outside the battery interface described above. It cannot see what you do in other programs.

Microsoft Store

If you install Watt's Left from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect installation and usage statistics under its own privacy statement. That data is Microsoft's, not the app's, and the app does not receive it.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Given what the app does, changes are unlikely.
